We are looking for an organised, enthusiastic individual to join our Operations department. This is a wide and varied role that requires you to be comfortable working independently across multiple functions. In addition to supporting general office administration, the primary responsibilities of the role will be to focus on assistance in both the Customer Service and Accounts team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has had previous exposure to office administration and is seeking a new development opportunity in their career.

Reporting to: Customer Services Manager


General Office & Accounts Support:

  • Manage incoming calls.
  • Welcoming and checking in visitors at reception[SLM5]
  • Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies correctly, both in terms of accuracy and timeliness.
  • Managing office supplies and refreshments. This includes supporting the wider business with event preparation
  • General office administration and support.
  • Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Raising purchase orders and sending to the relevant staff members for authorisation.
Ensuring customer master records are always up to date.
Processing certificate applications with the UK and Irish government.
Setting up ongoing work tickets, assigning to relevant staff members and adding deadlines.
Scheduling audits and other meetings.
Taking meeting minutes and preparing meeting agendas.

Customer Service

  • Resolve customer complaints via phone and email
  • Assist with placement of orders, refunds, or exchanges.
  • Inform customers of deals and promotions.

Required/ideal skills:

  • Previous experience in both Customer Service and Administration are essential.
  • Excellent telephone manner.
  • Capable of working under pressure and to deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good Computer skills, experience using software and Microsoft packages essential.
  • Highly organised and detail orientated – able to prioritise workload.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to all tasks and ability to work on own initiative.
  • Strong decision making and problem solving skills.
  • Strong administrative capability.

Full training will be provided to the successful candidate
Salary: £18,000-£20,000 depending on experience
