Job title: Junior Research Scientist

Wolfram, creator of Mathematica, Wolfram|Alpha and Wolfram Language, is seeking a highly motivated Junior Research Scientist to join the Algorithms R&D department. The Junior Research Scientist will help advance image, audio and video capabilities in Wolfram Language using neural networks.

Responsibilities

  • Testing and evaluating neural network models for various tasks
  • Converting neural networks of interest to the Wolfram Language model or ONNX format as appropriate
  • Preparing the converted networks for submission to the Wolfram Neural Net Repository
  • Developing examples and workflows showing the use of the converted neural networks

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in English, with excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of neural networks and machine learning
  • Proficiency in Python
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and take initiative

Preferred qualifications

  • Previous experience with ONNX model conversion
  • Proficiency in or familiarity with Wolfram Language

Location: Fully remote and seeking candidates from Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico and Peru
