Job title: Chinese Translator

Wolfram, creator of Mathematica, Wolfram|Alpha and Wolfram Language, is seeking a Chinese Translator to join its Localization team. The Chinese Translator will be responsible for updating and localizing Wolfram webpages, marketing materials, campaign emails and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Translating Wolfram Language documentation
• Translating strings for Wolfram|Alpha
• Translating materials used for webpages, sales, marketing and conferences
• Managing and actively maintaining social media accounts in China

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• Fluent in spoken and written Chinese and English
• Proficient in professional English translation
• Familiar with social media account operations, including content deployment, fan interaction, data analysis and optimization, and marketing promotion
• Experience with Wolfram products

Preferred qualifications

• Overseas study experience
• Master’s degree with a STEM background

Location: Fully remote and seeking candidates from China
Job type: Part time (Up to 30 hours per week)/Independent Contractor
Reporting to: Chinese Team Lead
