We have an exciting opportunity for a Key Account Development Executive to join our Sales team at Wolfram Research Europe Ltd. This role will be responsible for the management and growth of Key Accounts for our Software site licences; managing both new and existing sites in the French and Spanish territory. The ideal candidate will have experience managing technical sales, solutions, consulting services or other subscription services and software licensing within a Spanish and French region. 

Reporting to: KAD Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Executing of day-to-day sales and marketing strategies to achieve set targets
  • Developing Key Account relationships to build usage and sales 
  • Pro-active account planning and delivery across customer base to achieve set targets and produce continued account growth to new and existing customers
  • Co-ordinating with marketing and technical teams to arrange customer demonstrations, training courses, roadshows and other events
  • Updating leads, opportunities and all other customer contacts within CRM software in a timely manner

Qualifications:

  • French and Spanish language skills (business fluent considered)
  • Demonstrable history of sales success and the ability to cross and up-sell
  • 2 years minimum account management experience preferred
  • Experience of selling within French and/or Spanish Education, Government and Commercial markets (Public procurement experience an advantage)
  • Ability to thoroughly research existing and potential clients to identify opportunities and potential growth
  • Target orientated and capable of working under pressure on own initiative, to tight deadlines often on multiple projects
  • Strong work ethic, ability to network, decision-making, problem-solving and negotiation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, analytical, presentation, verbal and written communication skills
  • Availability to travel as required to visit customers or third parties
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills and ability to work on own initiative
  • Flexible and adaptable approach, open-minded and positive attitude with a good sense of humour
  • A high level of numeracy and attention to detail will be required
  • Good working knowledge of M/S Office, CRM systems and databases, and an aptitude to learn new systems.
  • Educated to degree level in a technical subject would be an advantage, E.g. maths, physics, engineering, computer science, or related technical or quantitative field
  • Genuine interest in science and/or Mathematics

Salary: From £28,000 per annum. With commission: £45,000-£50,000 OTE - depending on experience.
