We are looking for an Accounts and Operations Assistant to join our team and support the Operations Department.

You will be a confident self-starter and comfortable working independently across multiple projects. You will be responsible for supporting the wider business, specifically the Accounts and Operations team. Ideally this is a full time position however we are open to discussing part time and flexible options.

Reports to: Accounting Manager

Job Responsibilities:

The main job function will be to support the accounts team with accounts administration including;

  • Update accounts system with payments.
  • Posting cash receipts in to variety of bank accounts.
  • Reconciling and posting credit card receipts.
  • Managing PO and invoice process.
  • Reconciliation of company credit card transactions and statements.
  • Monthly bank reconciliations.
  • General administration.
  • Updating exchange rates in accounts system.
  • Cost analysis.
  • Document and manage team processes.
  • Support Internal Projects

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Quality team with the continued compliance and development of our ISO 9001 certification.
  • Coordinating ISO meetings, taking minutes and proactively following up action points.
  • Providing support to other company departments as required.

We are especially looking for people who:

  • Are highly organised and detail orientated - able to prioritise workload, complete multiple tasks to tight deadlines and work under pressure
  • Are self-motivated and a proactive approach to all tasks. Able to use own initiative.
  • Are perceptive, with the ability to apply judgement, common sense and find practical solutions.
  • Have excellent IT skills with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Have energy, enthusiasm and a can-do attitude.
  • Have a good level of numeracy and a high degree of attention to detail will be required.
  • Are flexible in their approach.

This role does offer hybrid working 60:40, Office:Remote
