We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join our Marketing and Projects team at Wolfram Research Europe Ltd.
In this role you will be responsible for supporting delivery across a wide range of projects; marketing, PR, sales and events. In addition, this role is key in achieving success in both internal and external customer facing projects for technical consulting agreements, contributing towards the business’ revenue targets.
The ideal candidate will have experience managing technical projects within a fast-paced organisation and would be able to collaborate effectively with other departments and customers.
Reports to: Technical Project Manager
Responsibilities:
- Managing the delivery of allocated technical services and consulting projects
- Supporting Computer-Based Maths (CBM) projects
- Leading and driving internal company projects
- Maintaining our project management system, JIRA, and other internal systems
- Supporting with the process of gaining new bids and tender opportunities
- Coordinating and directing meetings including: agendas, notes, recording decisions, next steps and actions items
- Managing the creation of new company webpages
- Collaborating with Technical Consultants to achieve effective project delivery in time and under budget
Qualifications:
- Educated in a technical subject or showing technical competency through hobbies and interests is essential
- Experience of project management and project delivery
- Highly organised – able to prioritise workload, complete multiple tasks to deadlines and work under pressure
- Self-motivated and a pro-active approach to all tasks. Able to use own initiative and work autonomously.
- Perceptive, with the ability to apply judgement, common sense and find practical solutions
- Strong planning, interpersonal and analytical skills, able to communicate well at all levels both externally and internally.
- Ability to adapt style of communication accordingly to all levels of the business, including senior management
- Excellent IT skills.
- Flexible and adaptable approach, open-minded and positive attitude with a good sense of humour
- A good level of numeracy and attention to detail will be required
- Good working knowledge of M/S Office, CRM systems and databases
This full-time role offers hybrid remote. Office:Home / 60:40
Salary: £29,000 - £33,000 per annum depending on experience.
